Is your fire department ready to expand your fire prevention activities?  MySafe:California is ready to step up and help you create a safer community.

With decades of experience in fire prevention, our board of directors and staff are working diligently to create a productive and useful force multiplier for your department and community. It doesn’t matter if you’re a career or volunteer department — if you work with a rural agency or a big city department: as long as you’re based in the State of California, our programs have been designed with you in mind.

Affiliate Departments

MySafe:California has developed a series of fire and life safety materials specific to the Golden Bear State. Every state has multiple disaster issues to be concerned with, and California is no different. The big threats we think of include earthquake and wildfire. National programs and safety materials are fine, but what about connecting with your local community? All of our materials will make your Department look “local” and ready to serve those who live in your district.

Becoming an affiliate is FREE.

NOTE : All materials are branded for MySafe:California. We will customize digital copies of any materials for our affiliates FREE OF CHARGE. You will then be able to download those materials and print them at your convenience. If you would like us to print materials for you, we will do so at extremely competitive rates. Partner Departments

Becoming a partner is also FREE, but is more involved:

Partner agencies will receive an initial assessment, materials, and other support with a localized MySafe:City banner and website content. The partner agency will then collaborate with MySafe:California to establish support requirements. Working together, development of funding and support will be executed and the agency will provide a 25% share for overall budget requirements after year one.


  • We’ll conduct community risk reduction events in your district FREE
  • We’ll make FREE smoke alarm installations possible for at-risk homes
  • We’ll gather key data to help with LOCAL statistics and analysis
  • We’ll visit elementary schools and help teach fire and life safety
    (and, we’ll do all of the logistics and “heavy lifting,” so you don’t have to)

So, get involved now. The first step is to become an affiliate. Once you’re registered and approved (we merely confirm your status as a fire department), you’ll have FREE access to support materials as defined herein. To become a partner agency, contact us and we’ll follow up promptly.
