Councilman Felipe Fuentes and MySafe:California
MySafe:California brought its fire and life safety presentation to Harding Street Elementary School and were joined by special guests, LA City Council Felipe Fuentes and Deborah Hanson from First Alert. Every child who returned a smoke alarm pledge card, received a free smoke alarm from First Alert. The pledge card guided children and their families to check their existing smoke alarms for working batteries, and count the number and placement of smoke alarms in their homes. Councilman Fuentes, concerned with the unusually high number of fire fatalities in California this winter, was on hand to lend his support and speak to the school’s 4th graders.
